Training at Palmers Green

The whole club currently trains every Thursday from 8pm - 10pm at the Southbury Leisure Centre from September through to beginning of April (or whenever Easter starts).

Training consists of warm-up and stretching, body movement and ball skills, and match play implementing the skills we have practised.

Each week has a training theme, for example throughout the season we have sessions on attacking play, defending skills, working the circle and shooting skills.

We plan our training sessions after coaches and the management team have observed matches on Saturdays, spotting weaknesses in teams and then plan a session around those weaknesses. We have a selection of qualified coaches who are available to take these sessions.
